Lilac Dreams

Lilac dreams,
oh so fleeting.
Flutters the heart,
oh so teasingly.
Sweet scent,
oh so alluring.
Poise and stature,
oh so appealing.
Alas, it would cease to last,
fading away into the harsh sunlight,
all too quickly.

I am so besotted.
