Fanboy

Yes yes, I am one. So, a BIG warning to all now. If can't stand fanboy gushing, leave NOW. This entry is that and only that.
For all those who haven't heard the news, there is going to be a live action transformers movie coming soon, projected date is 2005 dec. Well, once the movie arrives, it will surely be marketed as those comic cartoon crossover to the big screen blockbusters, and everyone will be interested in it. I, for one, hope there won't be too many fair weather fans proclaiming to be fans for 20 years and not know his bluestreak from tracks. Admittedly, that is unavoidable that bandwagon hoppers will suddenly appear out of nowhere, but I hope they don't make stupid comments. ALso, there is talk about changing some aspects of the original show, like how megatron cannot be a gun. Sighz, i must say that is rather expected, times have changed and Walther PPKs cannot be seen by children. Anyways if they make megatron into a tank i don't mind as long as they use his G1 mold and tweak it, like how figueroa did for war within. For the movie itself, I'm just happy for the fact that it'll be made, I hope they keep to the original story well, and use only a few characters. Most of the season 1 crew would be fine. Maybe the sotry could be along the lines that they crash on earth, mt st helens erupts, the decepticons leave the ark and raid hoover dam, the energy weapons duel revealed in remastered glory, before blowing the dam up and pissing off humanity royally, the autobots are forced to retreat, spike tells them that their war is unwelcome here, the collateral damage saddens prime, megatron ponders his new move, and decides to raid both cybertron and earth! As prime contemplates spike's words, the decepticons attack a NASA insitute to steal a rocket to return cybertron. Prime tells the autobots to "transform and roll out", but not before askign wheeljack to look for the "5 unaccounted warriors". A drag-out knock down fight takes place, with individual battles showing each tf's power, like skywarp's teleportation and mirage's cloaking ability. Prime and megatron duke it out again, and prime bests him, places his rifle to megs' forehead, all the while rehashing the classic movie dialogue, but before he can pull the trigger a gamma blast strikes him on the shoulder, knocking him away. Autobot and decepticon alike pause to see shockwave, in gun mode, transform as he exits a vortex. He chillingly tells megatron he brought "reinforcements" and out come the 6 constructicons! They scan for alt modes, then combine to form devastator! Devastator promptly routs all the autobots with his solar rifle and size, and as prime lies half dead mega transforms and gets soundwave to blast prime, but wheeljack arrives with the "5 unaccounted warriors", the Dinobots! They take on Devastator, and prime rallies the autobots for a final push. While the war rages on, the US govt decides to end this problem by nuking them. Soundwave reports that a nuke is arrivng, and megatron laughs hysterically about how the humans have betrayed him. Superion goes to intercept the missile, and the us govt, seeing that their plan had failed, decide to attempt to capture superion instead, so they detonate the missile near superion, knocking him out but not killing him. They salvage him and transport his parts for investigation. The nuclear explosion however created a large wave, which covered all the tf's allowing the decpticons to escape. Prime contemplates the autobot's cause again, as all around humans protest their residency on theri planet. Seeing no alternative, the autobots return to the ark, with prime vowing to prtect this planet despite their inhabitants hatred for them. In the final scene, we see megatron, in his new udnersea base, reiterating his desrire to enslave earth inhabitants and drain it of its resources. He looks at a computer as it is scanning, then it stops. The words "NEMESIS FOUND" appear on the screen, and we end with megatron laughing.
Not too shabby huh? I just need to add in more areas for character development, and tie up some loose ends. Maybe i will do a full cinematic script, but yeah that is a big maybe. Notice i sorta mixed the MTMTE ideas with dreamwave vol 1 ideas.
