New packaging, same product

And I don't want to finish off this line by BW megatron as it is far from savoury. In any case, got a bit fed up with the grey hues of the previous template, so decided to go with the standard templates offered by blogger. Surprisingly, did not wrestle with the code, did the template in 6-7 minutes. Now my blog looks fresher and brighter, to coincide with the wave of optimism (no sacrasm intended) sweeping throughout RJC.
In any case, somehow this template miraculously resurrected my archives links, which I though were gone for good after I messed up the code.
In any case, the number of posts would slow down, as more time is spent on studying rather than doing anything else that would be worth writing about here.
Full throttle people.

Hero

Hihi, chem prac was fun haha. For starters, I wet my paper even before the prac started while washing my burette. Then it was so hot and perspired like mad. Then my hands were trembling when i was adding the last few drops to the volumetric flask. Then wanted to curse loudly when I got a blue colour when I was 100% sure it was Cr. Designs were messed up. Argh. I must say the paper was hard and well set. Kudos to the chem department. Still, argh.
On my way home, I couldn't help overhearing 2 RJ girls sitting behind me were discussing about their lives. 1 girl was saying that even in her home people judge her. Basically she went on and on about how life sucks.
Does life REALLY suck? Somehow I was reminded of the conversation I had with nick on sun about a person who always so moody and has a bleak outlook on life. I guess, to quote ms elaine wong, it all depends.
I think life sucks only if you let it. Faced with adversity, you can either tackle it straight on, accept it and move on, or moan about it and wallow in self pity. To me, the 3rd option is a non-issue. Moaning never did any good.
Of course, if life was so clear cut things would so easy. Sometimes you cannot take the 1st 2 options out. Life cannot be ceteris paribus (all else constant), the world we live in is constantly evolving.
Life doesn't suck. Life is what you make it. Life is too beautiful to suck. Sure at times things seem rough and bleak, but in the end everything will sort itself out. You still have your family, friends, people who care for you. Sure at times you can't tell if they really do, but they do.
Rewatched two towers and spiderman 1 again, just realised that they are really heroes we can look up to. Against the most unsurmountable of odds, they triumphed. Sure that's fiction, but the theme of heroism, the selflessness, courage under fire, bravery and valour is still very relevant in this day and time. For real life heroes we can look at olympic athletes, firemen, people who stick to their beliefs no matter what, nurses doctors policemen etc.
"There's good in this world worth fighting for." Heroes inspire us, makes us believe in ourselves, makes the impossible seem possible.
Who's your hero? Maybe if you know that your hero has made it through worse times, you won't think life sucks that much. They probably thought that their lives sucked as well, but they didn't give in. We lesser mortals shouldn't as well.
The least I can do is try my best.
For honour.
For glory.
For 01.
For myself.

"The abolishment of EPL broadcasts constitutes a serious social welfare loss" Discuss

How's that for an econs s question. I wouldn't put it pass mr sowden.
In any case, I hope this gets settled soon. I don't want to have to cross my fingers each week and wonder if they'll be showing matches.
Smith is the man. He's winning me over the same way he made hate him when he used to play for leeds, with his abrasive and determined style. Plus he's no longer just a grafter in a (sadly) medicore team (mr sowden better not see this!), and he has added a frequent goalscoring touch to his game.
Chem prac. Here goes.

Woman In Red

Can't believe I forgot to comment on all these stuff on my mind...
The Life section today was a bit chilling to me. I hope I don't end up that way. Imagine living your whole life, not now per se when one should be studying, alone. Sure you get to be independent your not bogged down by another person, but I think deep down as homo saipiens we're social creatures and we would like to have some sort of company. I could go on an Evangelion-inspired rant now but it's been there done that for me so I shall pass. Let's hope when the time is right she enters my life. Like a saccarhine sweet romantic comedy, those types where you can diabetes just by watching.
Oh and today channel i showed a nice episode of power rangers. Yes those colour coded high kicking do gooders from an embarassing part of my childhood. Anyway, in the episode i watched they assembled all the 10 red rangers there ever was and got them to gather to fight a greater evil yadda yadda. So it was just another half hour wasted watching over elaborate henshin (morphing) sequences, scratching my head over obvious loopholes (they were fighting on the moon surface without space suits... didn't know that the moon had oxygen), but somehow it was just a throwback to primary school days where aaron foo would do his stupid dragonzord impersonation and everyone would try to play the dragonzord theme on the recorder. Ahh memories. Watching the show made me realise how much it insulted my intelligience. Why do the baddies always shoot at their feet only? Why don't the rangers ummon their machines immediately to squash the monster? Why isn't there any mention of collateral damage? The list goes on... Oh well, it's a children show, all laws of physics and common sense go out the very large window. In any case, I did recognise some of the older series rangers (shamefully), and yeah strangely enough, I think I enjoyed the series. Maybe their black-or-white non-ambivalent characters made me live a lie until shinji ikari came along to wake me up. Ahh who cares, no use psychoanalysing power rangers. Hey I still do get a kick out of watching them do their super power calling out, machines merging to forma super robot, more robots merging to form a more powerful robot, and the proverbial I'll-never-up attitude in the face of laughable evil.
This is my 300th post on blogspot! Wow! Pop the champagne! But if you somehow access my archives and count the entries, there are only 299 published entries! Anyway, no need to try as I never link my archives haha... Boy do I have something to hide...
(this paragraph just screams "attention seeker who wants to be asked what it is.." but I assure you it's not...)
Well, so long, and watch out for the woman in red...
Respite

Destruction. Been slacking this whole weekend, or nodding off at most inappropriate moments. Sheesh.
Watched Man U beat norwich. Normal service was resumed at Old Trafford. Smith's goal was a beauty, and the fact that O'Shea and Neville played more in the norwich half than in their own says a lot about Man U's dominance, never mind the fact the scoreline does not really show it to the same extent. Plus, ronaldo is back, and in 8 short minutes he got fouled 3 times, shot once, almost created 2 more goals and pegged back norwich in their own half with his dribbling as they were threatening to equalise.
And Singapore ends up with no medal. I wouldn't want to be a S'pore athlete... the pressure is immense. When the camera closed up on li jiawei's face, you could practically feel the pressure of a whole nation's hopes on you. She probably should have won, but this goes to show that you may be more skilled but you can lose as what matters is what happens on matchday. Mental toughness is necessary for any sport.
Strangely enough, I feel as gutted as I was when Man U was kicked out of the champions league by the cheating clowns of porto. I guess that shows I'm still patriotic! National Education sure works!

On the wings of love

I just realised that this must be one of the very few times I used the L word in my posts.
I think I should start scaling down my computer usage. Or at least leave it till the end of the day. The cyberworld that has been an integral part of my life is going to take a backseat soon.
Just a few random thoughts.
Ronaldo is back! Now to give many a full back twisted blood. And things have started to look better on the injury front for Man U. Norwich watch out.
Also, forgot all about my testimonial for Nicky Butt. Another of the class of 92 has left, and in rather sad circumstances. In the end he could not command a place in the crowded central midfield. Not the way he wanted to leave i guess. Still, he was the fetcher and gatherer, the midfield destroyer that never hit any headlines, but crucial to Man United's cause in any case. I'll remember his header in the 3-2 match against Leeds which nigel martyn saved but had to be subsituted, and then he went on to score the winner when he swivelled on the ball and blasted it past robinson. I'll remember groaning everytime he tries to shoot from long range ala paul scholes, either he balloons it badly or rips the net apart. So long Butt, and thanks for the memories. May you play well for newcastle, but not that well.
Singapore Idol is a disgrace. I cringe to think that those 30 people are the best Singapore can offer. So much for a value-added workforce. No one particularly stands out, and I think I'm giving up. No more jokers to laugh at equals not much entertainment worth. And yes, I watch SI so I'm no snob.
Just watched catch me if you can on HBO again. I remember the last time I watched it was on valentine's day after palawan last year, with nick and mog i think. I remember commenting it was damm sad that on valentine's day 3 guys are watching a movie together. Also, after that we went to buy stuff for campfire invites. Murugan was complaining all the way about how we were making use of his sister's artistic talents.
Yeah, it seems like just last week. I could be typing this on a friday, typing about how crazy things are in RJ for the first 3 months, before turning in to get ready for a scout activity on sat. Then on Sun I'll be rushing some tutorial or going out to have some fun.
Oh well, just a bit pensive I guess. If I were list all the stupid things I did in the first 3 months it'll invoke a few chuckles.
Rambling on. I have nothing really worth saying. I guess this place will quieter from now on.
And please, for the love of humanity, DO NOT rig the vote for the prom king and queen. It is just too disgusting to think about.

Entropy of my life

Just some messed up thoughts I would like to put down here.
Last saturday went down to clementi to support deborah, went there halfway through her bout, thanks to my lack of timing and the turtle-like 7. Spent some time talking to assorted juniors, barney, eugene, yun qin and deborah as well. I also witnessed an incident, which provoked memories of myself being stupid.
Still, when I was there, things did not feel the same. I guess it is really time to let go and move forward. The place does bring back memories, nice ones indeed, but they are just that, nothing else. In the end, I left with a pensive mood. I wonder if I went there to try and salvage what's left of my happy memories, hoping that they'll be still there, but the truth is that they're gone, time to move on pal. And that's what I have done, so long and thanks for the memories.
Chelsea were dominated by Man U, no doubt about that. Although we still lost, there is a silver lining after all, and once the senior players come back watch out Premiership.
Everyone seems to be either excited by grad nite, or griping about the lousy location. I'm sorta in between, neither too enthusiatic nor whining. I guess the truth is I don't know what to expect from it. Some say it is an ultimate posing session, some say it'll be a night of fun celebration. I guess, as Mr Tan said, it's what you make it. It'll be the last time I see many of my friends, people in fencing faction outlook etc. before I go to army. Still, I'm not goign to agonise too much about what to wear etc. Besides going to pahang before it will do "wonders" to my skin (mosquito leech bites).
Another thing that bothers me was the suggestion of booking hotel rooms. Chalet I think it's fine, but hotel rooms a bit hard to swallow for me. Besides my mum will probably pick out the words "hotel room" and jump to the wrong conclusions immediately. Anyway it's a waste of money when you can go Boon Lay haha.
Don and Mog were discussing the AVP movie then I dismissively said that predators were jsut men in plastic suits. Don coolly replied that transformers were robots that changed into vehicles, which one suspends your belief more? That shut me up.
And Don is the man, he is very eloquent, persuasive and charismatic. Go and acquire the target!
Everything is going to change from now. My life will change drastically next year. It's time I bid adieu to all that I held dear before, and embrace this new chapter of my life.
But before that there is a small problem of the A's.
I am a soldier.
I fight.
That's what I do.

That's quite a mouthful

I know I broke my own promise, but this is too good a list to pass up. Behold a selection (yes only a selection!) of the funniest quotes coming from Beast Wars!

Cheetor: "YAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!"
Rhinox: "There, good as new."
Rattrap: "Yeah, and twice as loud."

Waspinator: "Waspinator find Spider-bot and tear him a new waste disposal unit!"

Blackarachnia: "Ready to rock 'n roll, insect?"
Inferno: I do not rock and roll, I burn..."

Megatron: "We have no time for Maximals now."
Blackarachnia: "When do we ever... except for maybe that hunky Silverb-"

Silverbolt: "Why did you save me?"
Blackarachnia: "Well, uh, there might be, uh, other... creatures."
Megatron: "Oh, yuck."

Megatron: "Ah, as I expected. The base is undermanned and unprotected; ours for the asking."
Quickstrike: "Aw, now we ain't gonna ask, are we? How about we just blast our way in there, and SLAG everybody and TAKE IT?!"
Megatron: "Hmmm... okay!"

Tarantulus: "You musn't turn your back on a spider! They tend to be venemous."
Dinobot: "But they still squash!"
*squash*

Tigatron: "You cannot fire. We have a truce, remember?"
Terrorsaur: "Oh, I remember. But you know my trigger finger; it just might forget!"

Cheetor: "So clue us in. What's it really like being a Predacon."
Rhinox: "It's like having three gigs of attitude on a two gig harddrive. No wonder they have personality problems."

Rattrap: "Pre-evolved bird-brain!"
Dinobot: "Eater of garbage!"
Cheetor: "Sheesh, and they call me the immature one."

Inferno: "As you command, my queen."
Megatron: I wish he'd stop calling me that."

Inferno: "Never mind the rat. We have better prizes for our queen! Return to the nest!"
Quickstrike: "That 'bot sure does talk peculiar."

Inferno: "Yes, my queen."
Dinobot: "I was not aware that you'd given yourself a new title."
Megatron: "The ant has some faulty programming."

Inferno: "Say the word, my queen, and he shall burn!"
Megatron: "Not just yet. And for the last time: STOP CALLING ME THAT!"
Inferno: "As you command, my que-ACK!"

Megatron: "Ah, there it is: the mountain."
Rampage: "You brought us all this way too look at scenery?!"

Ravage: "So, it was a trap."
Megatron: "Oh, no! Really?"

Silverbolt: "Cybertron... the home I've never known."
Rattrap: "Oh, man, you are gonna love it! I know this little place where you can get dirty mech fluid mixed with just a hint of radium. It'll take your head right off! Not only that-"
*Rattrap notices Cheetor listening, bends in close to Silverbolt*
Rattrap: "Not only that, but all the servant-bots are all walking around minus their torso-plates!"

Rattrap: "So, eh, where ya been, Bird-Dog?"
Silverbolt: "Uh, scout patrol."
Rattrap: "Oh yeah, yeah. Scoutin' the enemy, yeah... Find any new positions?"

Optimus: "Looks like Waspinator's been on a suger binge. How long has he been up there?"
Tigatron: "Long enough to make my head spin."

Dinobot: "Look! Down in the sky! Is it a bird?"
Rhinox: "Maybe a plane?"
Rattrap: "Nah, it's Optimus!"

Airazor: "I'm flattered, but hardly impressed."

Rattrap: "And, eh, what if he goes ape-slag on us?"

Blackarachnia: "Do Maximals always talk such slop?"
*POW!*
Rattrap: "My sentiments exactly."

Rattrap: "If there was a clone, where is he?"
Dinobot: "I'm afraid he's gone for good. A shame, really. He was such a handsome creature... And, quite tasty."
*BURP!*
Optimus: "You're disgusting."

Rattrap: "This ain't a security grid, it's a gym!"

Terrorsaur: "Stop slobbering on me, Tarantulus!"
Tarantulus: "I am feasting!"
Waspinator: "Give Waspinator more room! Tarantulus fat enough already!"
Tarantulus: "If Waspinator does not stop cuddling me like a stuffed toy when he sleeps, I'll eat him as well!"
Waspinator: "I'd like to see you try!"
Tarantulus: "Yes I will!"
Waspinator: "Will not!"
Tarantulus: "I will so!"
Terrorsaur: "You all make me sick! I can't stand this any longer, Megatron! I've- I've got to get out! Eh-heh! Ha ha! Ha ha ha ha haa-" *POW!*

Optimus (to Rattrap): "I swear, I can't take you anywhere!"

Rattrap: "You do know that was crazy, right?"
Optimus: "Sometimes crazy works."

Waspinator: "Waspinator has a headache in his whole body."

Waspinator: "Not fair! Waspinator always gets slag assignments!"
Megatron: "May I remind Waspinator that the current cease-fire applies only in reference to Maximals!"
Waspinator: "Gulp! Waspinator go."

Waspinator: "Oh, sure. Don't mind Waspinator. Waspinator just lie here and suffer, drag himself to CR tank..."

Waspinator: "Waspinator just flying around, minding his own business, when BANG! Gets whole stasis pod right up the kazootie..."

Waspinator: "Oh, Inferno blow up, Waspinator must salvage; Waspinator blow up, nobody salvage! Why universe hate Waspinator?"

Inferno: "There! That will be our new colony!"
Quickstrike: "Eww! I don't wanna move in there! It's got all them hairy critters runnin' around... Unless... Unless you mean we's gonna slag 'em! Oh, please tell me that's what yer thinkin'!"
Inferno: "The royalty demands a new colony, and we shall take it... by force."
Quickstrike: "Yee-haw! Now yer' talkin'! How 'bout you, Bug-Boy? You ready to rip?"
Waspinator: "No."
Quickstrike: "What?!"
Inferno: "But the royalty commands it!"
Waspinator: "I said NO! Dragon-Bot comman you, Subcommander Kiss-butt! Dragon-Bot not command Waspinator! Not anymore! Waspinator sick of being evil, sick of being Predacon, and Waspinator especially sick of being blown to scrap all the time! So, Waspinator quit. Hmph! As of now, which means Ant-Bot and Two-Face can just pucker their mandibles and lay big, wet, juicy one right here on Waspinator's big, fat, stripey-"
*BANG!*

Waspinator: "Sigh... Waspinator happy at last!"

Dinobot 2: "You have already read the Covenant of Primus?"
Megatron: "Just the good parts."

Silverbolt: "I know now that my place was always with the Maximals. May I join you?"
Optimus (watching Megatron fall off a cliff): "Well, I like your resumé."

Rattrap: "We're all gonna die!"
Everybody: "Shut-up, Rattrap!"

Rattrap: "It's like I always say, we're all gonna die!"
*Everybody looks at him.*
Rattrap: "I know, I know: Shut-up Rattrap."

Rattrap: "No power, no weapons... we're all gonna die."
Rhinox: "Yup."

Megatron: "Oh, come on now, let's have it: the usual 'Destiny and honor' speech."
Optimus: "Speech this!"
*POW!*

Silverbolt: "Our leader has charged us with a mission, my friend. And Silverbolt, for one, shall prove worthy of his trust!"
Rattrap: "Man, I just hate it when he talks like that.

Silverbolt: "Lest you forget, your Protoform was a Maximal."
Blackarachnia: "Just drop it, okay?"
Silverbolt: "But saving me was indicative of your more noble heritage."
Blackarachnia: "I said drop it."
Silverbolt: "Just admit that there is a spark of goodness deep inside you, and then-"
*Blackarachnia unloads a few rounds in his direction.*
Blackarachnia: "Shall I elaborate?"
Silverbolt: "Uhh... perhaps not."

Silverbolt: "Prepare to be boarded!"
Blackarachnia: "And you can prepare to be blown away if you don't get your tail outta here!"
Silverbolt: "Blackarachnia, I want you to come back with me, to the Maximals!"
Blackarachnia: "Grrr... Get a clue, you canine cretin! I'm a Predacon. I'm evil. I'll shoot you!"
Silverbolt: "No, my heart tells me you will not."
Blackarachnia: "Oh yeah?"
*Bang!*
Silverbolt: "You shot me!"
Blackarachnia: "No duh, Dog-Boy, I'm evil. Now do you believe me?"
Silverbolt: "And yet, you ensured that the wound would not be mortal. Your inner Maximal goodness prevented you from-"
Blackarachnia: "Shut up! SHUT UP! SHUT UP!!!"
Silverbolt: "I know how you must be feeling. You don't know whether to kiss me, or kill me."
Blackarachnia: "I'm a black widow spider, you dolt. I can do both."

Silverbolt: "Blackarachnia... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"
Rattrap: "Sheesh, where's my cyber-violin?"
Rhinox: "Very touching, Silverbolt, but she's just in stasis-lock."
Rattrap: "Yeah, so if you could stop crushing her to yer manly torso plate, let's say we get some repairs done?"
Silverbolt: "Um, yes. Very well, then."

Rattrap: "Maybe they just decided to take a little break. Heh heh."
Silverbolt: "Were that innuendo not beneath my contempt, rodent, you would be required to give satisfaction!"
Rattrap: "I forget. Did he talk like this before, or did fallin' in love do somethin' to his circuits?"

Silverbolt (literally in pieces): "Sir, I'm fine. I just need to-"
Blackarachnia: "Shut-up and obey your commander, bone-brain."
Silverbolt (as his head pops off): "Yes, dear."

Dinobot: "You would unleash the full fury of this battle station on a lone anthropoid? Tell me, Megatron: where's the honor in that?"
Megatron: "You dare use the H-word to me?"

Cheetor: "You lookin' at somethin'?"
Rattrap: "Oh, joy. Cyber-puberty."

Inferno: "Royalty! Why was I not chosen?"
Megatron: "Because, Inferno: When expecting booby-traps, always send the boob in first."

Waspinator: "Waspinator detects stink of unnatural Transmetal!"
Dinobot 2: "Grrrr!"
Waspinator: "*Gulp!* Waspinator excludes present company!"

Cheetor: "I got a blue plate sighting in Tengu Sector. Crabby and Crab-legs, all you can eat!"

Waspinator: "Wspinator don't see why carrying Transwarp cells so important."
Inferno: "Every job for the royalty is a gift!"
Waspinator: "Ant-Bot is major suck up!"

Rattrap: "Why you ain't nothin' but a schemin' snake in the grass!"
Starscream: "Eh, flattery will get you flattened, vermin."

Starscream: "You've betrayed me!"
Blackarachnia: "I studied with the master."

Waspinator: "Waspinator to Megatron! Waspinator has female fleshy-bot, but there is problem!"
Megatron: "She'd better not be injured!"
Waspinator: "No, she injuring Waspinator!"
Megatron: "Ah, situation normal, then. Return to base."
Waspinator: "Waspinator wants to renegotiate contract!"

Brain is fired after testing so many hypotheses doing S8...
Basket, fishballs, super white etc.

I don't know which one to hate more, the olympics, or Mediacock. Olympics decide to screw Man Utd over by stealing heinze and ronaldo from their paymasters to put up a facade of a dog and pony show, since when olympics had anything to do with football anyway? And mediacock has decided to screw any tv viewer over for a grand total of 6 (SIX) weeks by messing up the television schedule thanks to the darn olympics. They oh ONLY and i do mean ONLY rescheduled those shows 10 pm and onwards, which happen to be the only good shows worth watching, and that includes OC! By the time it returns to our very friendly screens it'll be prelim period!!! Blooming marvellous!!! (I'm doing a great job keeping explicit vulgarities out of this post!)
Which brings me back to my favourite rant of the standard of programming in Singapore. Anyone who has a burning desire to watch my big fat obnoxious fiance whatever stupid title they gave that show should be condemned to watch gigli for 24 hours straight. Or make them watch the "all your base" flash for 24 hours. On second thoughts that is quite lenient. Why would any self respecting individual want to watch shows that have no intrinsic value in them except for (gross) entertainment? I'm no snob, OC is just pure fluff, I watch it to relax, but shows like these should not be occupying prime time, It is just symptomatic of a society which has a weird set of values if their idea of post-dinner entertainment was watching people eating extremely gross stuff, or reality dating shows which undermine the institution of marriage, or just simply 2 spoilt brats getting paid for acting more spoilt. Maybe every family should just switch off the TV and engage in a game of scrabble, that is far more intellectually stimulating.
Haiz, rant over i think, but I just don't understand why lame-ass reality shows get prime time while award winning shows either get banned, cut to pieces, or simply get shelved into the twilight zone timeslot. All we get as common fare are (no) talent shows, reality TV which i detest (surprise there), variety programmes (which are only slightly better than reality TV, I mean who actually bothers watching stars doing challenges on water?), or drama serials which are so formulaic.
Like I said, I'm nos nob, and being an econs student I know there is a demand for such programmes therefore they are produced. Still, I just shake off the feeling that mum is right, that a society which watches shows like Unbeatables and Holland V is in danger of being stuck in that level only. Or maybe she and I are just acting the snob again, only that she is always worse than me (ha!).
In any case, it means now there is NOTHING to make my wretched thursdays better.
And for the benefit of all those out there who think that banana joker is funny, he was a guy in the Singapore GameFAQs forum who got dared to do it. And he did. But he NEVER got to the judges, Mediacock decided to do some clever editing to insert that scene with the judges in it. Now you know the truth.
List of things Mediacock has screwed me over for:
1) CANCELING BEAST WARS!!!!!!!! (I'll never forgive them for that)
2) Their shitty programming
3) Timing of the practice
4) And now this
It's amazing how a humble tv company can make me so pissed off.
Thank you for listening to me rant. Have a nice day. If possible, send Mediacock a pig's head.
:)

I guess this is it

After talking to don, things do look better now. At least I can laugh at myself.
I guess this is it. I'll just last chance saloon it, exercise my 0.000000001% chance, then go out in a blaze of glory, and from the ashes, I'll rebuild a stronger person.

Well I been thinking 'bout the future
But I'm too young to pretend
It's such a waste to always look behind you
Should be lookin' straight ahead

Yeah, I'm gonna have to move on
Before we meet again
Yeah, it's hard
If you had've only seen

Claiming back what's ours

I was walking towards kinokuniya yesterday after dinner with my family. Upon reaching the entrance, I saw a boy wearing the new Manchester United jersey. I felt it looked odd, and on closer inspection, I realised why so.
There was no golden lion on the sleeve, just a normal blue one.
Then all the hurt and disgust came flooding back, before slowly being replaced with righteous anger.
This time, we're going to get that golden lion back, and how.
Just you pretenders wait.

Head. Meet wall.

Only now can I fully comprehend my stupidity. Argh...
Just don't quite know how to articulate myself. Maybe for once, I am actually lost for words.
Things really don't go the way you want them to go...
Shet, why am I so screwed up? Nothing to worry about, pick yourself up now and walk on, don't look back.
I really have to ask myself, why am I doing this to myself?
Somebody wake me up proper.

Dreams, delusions, reality and hallucination all intertwined...

Ok that's it. If I have another dream about dinosaurs chasing me I'm laying off the Land Before Time marathons I have been having. In all seriousness, those prehistoric stalkers in my sleep are driving me mad. First it was a T-Rex chasing us in a yellow sports car with keng piang at the wheel (I don't know which one I find more terrifying), to a dark grey sharp toothed brontosaurus (or apatosaurus for those purists out there) chasing me in a jungle, and finally to raptors that could morph into women and gut their victims with their fingernails. What next? If I want a dream about dinosaurs I rather it would be about the Dinobots. Mum quipped that she expects that a stegosaurus or ankylosaurus will make its appearance next, and matter-of-factly pointed out that bronotsauruses are herbivores so they don't have sharp teeth.
Well, this is interesting, from www.dreammoods.com, apparently "To dream that you are being chased by a dinosaur, indicates your fears of no longer being needed or useful. Alternatively, being chased by a dinosaur, may reflect old issues that are still coming back to haunt you."
Hmm, the latter is quite true, some unresolved issues are always haunting me. Oh well, maybe it is just that I'm quite stressed out.
Wonder if dreams are really a window to one's life...
On a more saner note, Jay's new album is out and from what I heard so far it's good stuff, although a bit rehashed. I'm quite sure he sampled a piece of music from Heroes 3 for track 1.
So much mugging, so little time. Shall try my best, no way I'm going to let anything get in my life, not even a herd of rampaging dinos.

Church Bells

How do you let go of something? Well, just don't think of it. Simple, right? Yeah, but if it keeps on popping up in your mind, that's when things get tricky.
Which makes me wonder if I really want to let go of it. Bah, madness. I really don't need this now.
Resolved to not say "i was like", instead shall say "my reaction was" as the former really reduces my intellect level.
No more PE, darn that means I shall become a flabby piece of triglyceride. Means I should step up my swimming frequencies. 4 consecutive laps of butterfly stroke feels good when your arms ache. Shall increase the number of laps after a while, I'm really out of shape with regards of swimming, haven't swam for some time. But still can remember the strokes clearly, I guess it's like riding a bike, once you learned it you won't forget.
Ran out stuff to say, maybe more like ran out of things I can say online. Just found out that Mr Zheng Shuwei actually reads this blog (If you're reading this now, hi!) and nick cryptically says a lot (emphasis here) more people read my blog than I think. That just means more people will be forming opinions, correct or wildly otherwise, based on what I write here. I try to be truthful, but the reality is that what I say here is perhaps just marginally more truthful than what I say in person. Still, this place has its purpose, to be my soundboard, whether for fanboy gushing or cryptic analogies.
To all those who think you know me, just from what I write here, you don't.

Unravelling slowly

I think I'm going to go crazy soon. During chem lecture I dozed off, and in that short nap I saw some images that had absolutely no meaning at all, until I focused on 1 image, before a poke from keng piang in the side prompted me to wake up and copy some stuff. Then when econs lecture ended, I saw that image. It wasn't exactly the same image, but the fact it was close enough to it that freaked me out. People do get deja vu quite frequently, but mine has always been simple stuff like shoes being arranged in a certain way on the shoe mat. I hope it just because of the fact that I slept at 2 last night and an amazing coincidence took place. But then the human mind has always had the uncanny ability to explain away phenomenon in the most plausible way without suggesting any trace of the truth. In short, I hope I'm not so stressed out.
Anyway, I hate thursdays. Just realised that most of the shitty stuff happens on thursdays. Maybe it is because of the 3 lectures, 2 of which are hard to understand; maybe because it is the long hours of the day that make me irritable; maybe it is the penultimate day of the week which is neither the end nor the start. Well, maybe it is just the multitude of reasons that interact and make me feel lousy. Oh well, one saving grace of thursdays is OC, which incidentally is starting now. Feeling better already.

All in good time my friend

I've decided that if I want normal people to read my blog I have to cut down on cryptic posts or long sermons about the greatness of Transformers. Still, I can't help it if a bit of both sneak into my posts once in a while.
Well, attended various career talks, notably the law talk, where I more or less affirmed where I want to go for my further studies. Still, I can't help but feel it is now all so frighteningly close to the end of my school days, for the next two years at least.
A crappy thing is that grad night is on 5/12, which is in between the trip 01 is taking to pahang. Argh, oh well I'll deal with that later.
I guess this would be an appropriate time to take stock of life wouldn't it? After all after this nothing else happens other than just more mugging after mugging. I envy the J1s doing all the fun stuff I did last year, where school was just a means to the end of attending such activities. Haiz, my foil sits forlornly in the corner of the study room, untouched for weeks. Maybe after the A's I'll train intensively for a month then go try my luck in novices.
The Guys TM really help keep my sanity. My class can really go over the top at times and I'm usually miffed by their actions, especially when I'm having a particularly bad day. Just that I rather not express my frustration, never did any good to anyone. Anyway who cares, I've grown deaf to dumb comments.
At least still got the camaderie of the Guys TM to draw upon on. Yeah, only in shitty times do you know your real friends, as mog postulates.
Really have no idea what to write. Something is plaguing my mind for a long time already, but I can't write about it here. Suffice to say I'll wake up from this dream soon, regardless the ending, sweet or sour or just plain bitter.

Transform and Roll Out!

Well, for all the ignorant people, Dreamworks have confirmed they have accquired the rights to produce the Transformers live-action movie. Steven Spielberg will executive produce, Tom DeSanto of X-Men will direct. So far that's all the news we have, apart they will have a core cast of 7 on each side, and they will try (emphasis) to keep the original elements of the mythos. They began work immediately, slated for a summer 2006 release.
Personally, I'm super excited, as it the movie was specualted online for some time but it died down, I thought the project got cancelled, apparently not, thanks goodness. Now I hope they produce a decent movie that will gurantee sequels, but just try not change it totally until it loses the Transformers feel. Megatron cna be a tank, Soundwave a mp3 player or what not, just seeing them on the big screen would be good enough for me.
Still, I wish I could see the dinobots take on Devastator, I guess that would be for the sequels.
My choice for the core 7 would be Auotbots: Optimus Prime, Prowl, Jazz, Sideswipe, Ratchet, Ironhide, Bumblebee. Decepticons: Megatron, Starscream, Soundwave with Rumble Ravage Laserbeak, Skywarp, Thundercracker, Blitzwing, Astrotrain I guess.
Just realised that there are way more autobots than decepticons. Wonder why Prime just ordered a direct assault and won the war by season 1. Then later Decepticons had like 6 combiners to 3 autobot, and thus should have wiped the floor with them.
And yes the Decepticons had one of the coolest guys on their side, Sixshot the six-changer, took out the aerialbots with ease in Rebirth.
In any case, can't wait for the robots in disguise to hit the big screen!

Ghosts

Down that noisy walkway, there it was,
Jet black dark hair abound, more true than false.
Hollow eyesockets, a pale white dress,
Speaking in words dripped with distress.

Hand outreached, whisper it did,
Beckoning, coaxing, like I was a kid.
A faint impression of a smile curled,
Helpless, yet fascinated, head in a whirl.

Down the spine the chills went,
Rapid flushes of blood the heart sent.
Throat dry, voice unsteady,
To stare death’s messenger in the eye, I was not ready.

Coarse fingers wrapped around mine,
I hesitate, like on my debut crime,
Cold, clammy, yet, oddly welcoming,
Bizarrely, I wished feverishly for no ending.

Closer the pale face drew,
More defenseless I grew.
Eyes closed, hoping for it to end quickly,
In that crazy moment, I welcomed the ghost’s embrace happily.

Then it was gone, like a leaf in the wind,
The world swam back to what it should be.
The apparition disappeared, with perhaps a slight trace of a cryptic whisper,
Leaving me alive, like a diamond that has lost its lustre.

Return it will, to haunt me it shall always,
For only I can sense its being, its purpose, the games on my mind it plays.
When my own personal ghost finally claims me,
A smiling body without a soul, his end was, said she.

Ng Zhao Yang

To my ghost. Please stop haunting me.

Ghosts

I quote from a classmate's blog, "(for common tests) my half-formed stabs in the dark and found As out of them."
I must have gotten the leftovers then.
Hello electronic world again. I guess things do look a darker shade of grey now. Been trying to knuckle down and study, with varied success.
I think an emotional inertia has come over me. It's weird in a way, as it now really seems to me that I am actually going through the motions, when I always have done so. Maybe my brain has finally caught up with what my body has been doing all this time. My life now has a routine, swimming on sunday and OC on thursday, interjected with school and mugging.
Maybe another cause of my inertia could be due to my hauntings. For the uninitiated, there is a ghost haunting RJC. It sucks the soul of a person on visual contact with it, the sound it makes sends chills down one's spine, yet it has this crazy allure, the cold and clammy feeling making its victim unconsciously seek it, to torture himself in the most twisted of ways.
I don't know how many people can see this ghost. They say it takes various forms, each unique to each person. And there are some who cannot see the ghost, but can sense its demented presence, some even yearn for its diseased touch, some shun the ghost and fear it, for it would render them weak, and eventually tear the person apart from within, leaving nothing but a mess of crimson red.
It seems my ghost is growing stronger. I can't seem to combat it, with every appearance in the walkways, canteen, with every harsh whisper that i hear, for every homocidal action it does, I grow weaker, more susceptible to its control. If I do not get a grip on myself, it would surely destroy me from within.
Ghosts that grip you and never let go.
I need to save myself before I lose myself.
I never believed in ghosts until now.

Boat reach bridge auto straight

Someone taught me that. It may be some crude translation, but the way the person said it will be the reason why I remember it.
Went for brendan's (my 2nd youngest brother) band concert. It was nice as usual, in the end the pieces made me accept that 10 bucks was a good value for it. And somehow I predicted they would play the spider-man theme. No wonder he was so nonchalant when I played buble's version.
Also, something I noticed. Normally, ri events would have more guys than girls, but sitting early in the third row from the front (thanks to my kiasu parents and grandparents. "Must get good seat so we can see your brother!"), I can't noticing that the ratio is equalled out. To say anymore would incriminate me.
After talking to edwin, I guess I know too little.
Last thought for the day. "Caught the Summer-flu? Need some Anna-biotics?" Man what would I give to have his problems.

She Will Be Loved

I don't mind spending everyday
Out on your corner in the pouring rain
Look for the girl with the broken smile
Ask her if she wants to stay awhile
And she will be loved
She will be loved

The constants in my life

For starters, Crystal will do blindingly well in anything that has a semblance of a test or exam or quiz. I have emprical evidence to prove this. Any deviation from the trend of excellence is just a fluke.
The countdown begins. 7 weeks and decreasing. Urge to mug: Minimal. Attitude: Lazy. Course of action: Suicidal. Result: Unfufiled potential.
Speaking of which, G1 #6 was a flat in my opinion. Jetfire blabs a lot about Sunstorm, how he is some fusion bomb waiting to go off etc, but I couldn't really get the mumbo-jumbo. In any case, Sunstorm gets up like the Terminator again after being blasted by Starscream's null rays, but starts to disintegrate due to the interference of the gunk he fell into. He goes mad, and eventually jetfire dukes it out in midair with him, before grabbing him and flying off into space where along with Sunstorm he gets blasted to bits. In other words, Jetfire bought it. But first rule of comics, if we don't see a body, he's not dead. And with the relatively immortal transformers, their death is about as final as day of our lives. Well, at least this story arc made me like Jetfire, but the story has more holes than swiss cheese so i hope they resolve it soon. Anyway next we have the badass Sideswipe and Sunstreaker vs the Insecticons. Let the squishing begin.
Oh yah, and apparently Chee Keong told me that people actually complain that I write about transformers here and it pisses them off. Hmm, I wonder if it ever occured to them this is my blog, and they are not forced to read what I write. Besides, surely you do not begrudge me the opportunity to let off my fanboy-ism here, rather than let it bottle in me and fester until I start spouting lines like "one shall stand, one shall fall" while playing tennis or pool, or worse, bringing a saturn like object into an exam hall and start trying to open it while shouting "now, light our darkest hour!"
Gee, lay off me will ya? Everyone has a hobby, mine is just more unusual.
Anyway, once the live action movie comes out, there will be more people jumping on the transformers bandwagon, and those "fans" who won't know their skywarp from thundercracker will get the full blast from me. Just like those people who panned the Spider-Man movie just because there was not much action. Once again, no respect for the material.
Like I always said, there is just this allure of transforming robots. In addition to that, here is a civil war with a limited number of soliders, each of them having a very distinct personality. The complexities of the issues go far beyond giant robots smasing each other silly.
Anyway, I've gotten immune to all the stuff thrown at me. All I can say is, Happy 20th Anniversary Transformers, it's been a long haul but it's still going strong. May we have more enthralling storylines.
Just a random thought: Maybe it'll be nice to name my future son Optimus. Haha. If my future wife would let me.
I guess to escape this world where every day is just another carbon copy of another, it's nice to have some little distractions to make it worth looking forward to tommorrow.

Moral of the day

From the OC: If somehow, on Thanksgiving, the two girls that you like, one of which is your supposedly best friend and lab partner, the other the girl you have rabidly wooing for some time but has always resisted your advances, end up in your house, one in the poolhouse, one in your room, and you start making out with both of them, for the love of a higher being, choose one girl quickly before they congregate in the kitchen, exchanging evil glares with you in the centre saying things like "I kissed you!"
Couldn't stop laughing my head off. In any case I'll just take anna. Haha. Man, rather than problems like "What is the appopriate role for the central bank today?" can't I have his problems? I promise I'll try not to screw up as much as my econs s essay.
Yeah... decadent american shows. If my father watched it with me he'll probably have a coronary and start explaining to me why what seth is doing is wrong and you must be faithful etc etc etc.
Thanks carol for recommending the OC to me! At least now I have something to look forward to on thursday nights...

This is a story that is not worth telling

Lampooning the frequency spidey loses his mask in the newest film.
Well, just to share some random thoughts for today. I think one can learn more from 1 episode of CSI or the practice than in 1 hour of econs tutorials. CSI is chock full of facts, which you can just pick up as it is all bite sized and somehow irrelevant information gets stuck in my brain easier than how effective monetary policy can be. Shall go out with a whimper tommorrow due to the lack of studying for the econs s common test.
As for the practice, they challenge your concept of morals. Fundamentally justice must be administered using a system, otherwise there would anarchy. Without a proper system, where a person is innocent until proven guilty, and it msut be proven beyond any reasonable doubt, no matter how terrible the crime, no matter how obvious the person was the one who committed all those crimes, he must be proven guilty, beyond reasonable doubt. Otherwise, as I quote, "the only thing in the future between us and a prison cell, is an accusing finger pointed by a child who has a history of lying." Justice is many things but fair. Better to let a guilty man go free than convict an innocent man. Any system is inherently flawed, and the judiciary is no different.
Spidey still stays in my mind. Like many have said, he is the hero whom we can all relate to, he could be anyone of us, struggling with school, money, love and other assorted problems, plus a great burden. A burden of guilt that weighs heavily over him. Haven't we all been there like that before? Being pushed on to do something as you're racked with guilt? Being unable to say what you want to the girl you like? Feeling absolutely crappy as everyone else is having it good while you're not? Feeling torn apart by all the responsibilites pulling you in many directions? There's a spidey in all of us. He is arguably the most "human" of superheroes, like he said, if you punch me I bleed. He can represent the best and worst of us, the resistance to wallowing self pity and to seize the situation by the scruff of the neck and change it for the better, or to run away and not confront the problem. I guess that's why he is still so immensely popular in this day and age, 30 years on after his creation.
Been brooding over the return of school. The mother of all exams loom real and large now. I guess this is the beginning of the end. Funny how short these 2 years were. Wide eyed I was then; perhaps a better word would be dumber. Things turned out ok I guess.
Final note: Why is it many people want to skip prom nite? Granted it may end up being an affair overshadowed by more prominent characters, but that's their problem, who cares? I'll just take it as my last day in RJC. Perhaps we can have a guys table again, but whether we can fill it is another thing, a few already are koped by other people haha...

Effervesence observed

Well well, I come to you when the tide has turned itself inside out. Common tests are over, so did the holidays that came with it.
In retrospect, the papers were doable, just that some of the concepts that i studied were rusty and i had to derive them out on the spot, which wasted precious time. Also the trademark nervousness manifested itself as my stomach sommersaulted many a night, causing me to almost doze off in the middle of the bio paper.
What happened after the papers deserves more column inches i think. Thursday, spidey filled my mind the whole of last night and that morning, found it hard ot concentrate on kinetics. Anyway, went to lido to watch, and thanks to crystal and al who went ahead first to buy tickets for us we managed to snag good seats, but later at 1330. We stoned in a food court, talking cock to winston who complained to no end about his lousy food. After that, we splintered, the girls went to shop, some of the guys went to pool and I decided to go home and change itstead of going on yangqi's trip to marriott hotel to sit in the lobby. Got home, bathed, packed some chips for the class and got to lido. The show was a blast, although I felt that the slow scenes dragged it downa bit, but they were a necessary evil, as the small events seem to build up to that final confrontation. And yes he did take off his mask too much.
However, what pissed me off was some people having no respect for the material, only wanting spidey to beat up anything. They should just go watch a governator movie, and rent the dvds and enjoy them away from other people. Sheesh. Apart from that, enjoyed picking out all the easter eggs and in-jokes that other people didn't get. "Go get 'em , tiger." indeed.
After that, went to pool with singyong cheryl yangqi kengpiang and winston. It was my first time, I sorta used my carrom skills to judge the trajectory and spin, and more or less got the hang of the game, under the tutelage of sy who is always willing to explain how to play games. He taught me mahjong the last time during the chalet.
Got home played a bit of MMBN4, slept late, the life..
Next day, went for class sentosa outing. A bit machamed, cos no one bothered to message back any negative or positive reponses. In the end, I didnt go at the situpulated time, came only on the insistence of kp that "half the class is here!". Evidently his maths needs revising as they were only cheryl kp bk yq winston, more quarter than half. In any case, we went to siloso beach, met 3A there, played beach football, practised headers, bk and yq oogled, soaked in the sea talking cock, dinner at the seah im food centre, with kp grossly chewing on a straw. Went home by train, talked some nonsense that doesn't seem right now. Another case of me not shutting up when I should. What do you say to someone who is so mysterious?
Sat was a lazy day, played MMBN4, went for dinner at the glutton's square, had to fight through teeming crowds for the food, and avoid being noticed by geraldine chong. The food was good in any case, and mouth-watering (pun intended) possibilities of finally getting a good supper filled my mind.
Sunday also passed with minimal incident, till the night I made my way to don's house to watch the final of euro 2004. Along the way i read the spider-man book, at jurong east went yengyong, talked to her a while until she got off at laskeside, met the guys at boon lay. Checked out alvin's cool wallet, a gold and green box the side of a pda. The bunch of us hiked to don's house as we didn't want to squeeze on the bus. Once there, we had a lively debate on what dvd to watch before the match. Alvin suggested shanghai knights, as fann wong is in it. Vetoed instantly. In the end, we settled for the return of the king, as alvin was here.
Halfway through the movie, don gave us some leftover curry, which seng fab annd I started to mop up. Then alvin and kenneth the musou kings splintered to play some LOTR game which resembled dynasty warriors, and didn't stop till the match ended around 5. It was amusing, to say the least, to hear the 2 of them shout random stupid nonsense. Fabian got a video of them doing that.
Finished the curry, then settled down to watch the last part of ROTK. Fabian was making stupid spider-man commentsd about shelob, some the rest fell asleep. Once the movie ended, don showed us this clip which he claimed to be very scary. He even turned off the lights to add to the atmosphere. Then, as alvin puts it, "what's so scary about that?" Still girls in red dresses popping out of a lift from nowhere ranks high on my scare meter, only that she was made of pixels.
The match started, and it was really lacklustre, the only person who was happy with the result was seng as the underdog won. Sheesh. Briefly I found kenneth's and alvin's digital exploits more interesting than the match.
After the match, we tried to sleep, but fabian and don flash banged everyone with their cameras. In the end I got no sleep thanks to the endless commotion, and we left at 6 in the morning, trudging groggily to the MRT station. Went home by 0715, bathed then crashed till lunch, then crashed again in the afternoon.
Now for the final lap, gotta go for my second wind...

Hold On

You tried so hard to be someone
That forgot who you are

You tried to fill some emptiness
Till all you had spilled over

Now everything’s so far away
That you don’t know where are
You are

(Chorus)
When all that you wanted
When all that you had don’t seem so much
For you to hold onto
For you to hold onto

For you to belong to

When it’s hard to be yourself
It’s not to be someone else

Still everything’s so far away
That you forget where you are
You are

(Chorus)
When all that you wanted
When all that you had don’t seem so much
For you to hold onto
For you to hold onto

Hold on [4x]

Hold on [4x]

(Chorus)
When all that you wanted
When all that you had don’t seem so much
For you to hold onto
For you to hold onto
For you to hold onto

For you to belong to

Let die the woman you love, or suffer the innocent children?

New layout, made by a singaporean! I like it, even though I tweaked it a bit.
Spider-Man 2 is opening soon... Can't really be excited as I'll be having CTs... Sighz...
I hope I don't do too badly for this CT. Trying to get the fact that crystal got full marks for SAT II out of my head. Like I'm already under enough stress. Can never seem to focus and study, wasting numerous hours in front of the computer...
Oh well, we'll see after I return on thursday. Battle network 4 is out tomorrow, must resist temptation to play. Hopefully I'll get Cs for the majority of the subjects. At least that's a platform for improvement. No 3Ds this time around please, and hopefully my maths miracle can sustain itself.
Euro is exciting. The big seeds are dropping like nine pins. I guess there is some romance in that, but more or less I am not surprised by some results. Either portugal or spain had to go from the group stage thanks to the imprudent greek, so it was spain in the end. Germany, thank goodness, it is a relief to see them gone. Negative football is the bane of any fan who wakes up at 0245h to watch a match. Same goes for italy, what with totti's throaty antics and del piero's impotency, their cries of match fixing are ridculous. England lost rooney and lost the plot, so bye bye. Poor scholes, nevilles and butt, who didn't even play a match. Besides the england is rather crappy and overhyped, too one-dimensional and heavily reliant on rooney. France, due to the virtue of having some many arsenal players in their ranks, deserve to be dumped out ignominously. Seriously, a cocky team (read: arsenal 2003) wins nothing but boos. I'm tipping the czechs, this time stronger than before the tourney, but judging from the events of the past few weeks the unexpected seems to happen all the time, i rather leave the crystal ball gazing to the so-called experts and enjoy the football instead.
I guess this is it. The time where we are forced to take a stand, mug hard and overcome the dangers ahead. Sigh. At least a lucky break in the form of 2 year NS came my way. Hey, I will just keep plugging away, doing my best, making sure I live to die another day.
"I believe there's a hero in all of us...
Gives us strength, makes us noble...
Even though sometimes we have to give up the thing we want the most..."

Gifts and Curses

A very nice song from the spider-man 2 soundtrack, good rocking tune. Depicts the plight peter parker is in quite well. In any case, common tests are coming up and I'm occupying myself with counting down to spider-man 2 and battle network 4 and watching euro instead of putting in hours of mugging. A case of screwed up priorities i know, but I think I'm 50% there, so I'm going to get only 50% of the marks. Jolly. In any case, go enjoy the song, good music helps to destress.

Yellowcard - Gifts and Curses

Mary belongs to the words of a song.
I try to be strong for her, try not to be wrong for her.
But she will not wait for me, anymore, anymore.
Why did I say all those things before? I was sure.

(She is the one), but I have a purpose,
(she is the one), and I have to fight this,
(she is the one), a villian I can't knock down.

I see your face with every punch I take,
and every bone I break, it's all for you.
And my worst pains are words I cannot say,
still I will always fight on for you.

Mary's alive in the bright New York sky,
the city lights shine for her, above them I cry for her.
Everything's small on the ground below, down below.
What if I fall, then where would I go, would she know?

(She is the one), all that I wanted,
(she is the one), and I will be haunted,
(she is the one), this gift is my curse for now.

I see your face with every punch I take,
and every bone I break, it's all for you.
And my worst pains are words I cannot say,
Still I will always fight on for you. Fight on for you ....

John Cleese would be proud

DEMOLISHOR: "What did you do to Tidal Wave??"
MIRAGE: "Allow me to answer that. You see, my former comrade, in this new form, my mental functions are not nearly so divided. As such, I am afforded the ability to focus my intellect at a loftier level. You might say the diminutiveness and brobdignagian nature of my mind and body, respectively, have reversed themselves. Quite the metamorphosis, what?"
DEMOLISHOR:"Huh? I don't get it."
MIRAGE: "Nor would I expect you to, you knuckle-dragging halfwit."

Makes me laugh, it does. Sorry for the transformers in-joke.

Seems that the light you were following was not bright enough

Random thoughts of the week:
1) Finally watched harry potter. Liked the better pace, mood and feel, but it may be a step too fast for the series. Anyway, still don't like the time travel plot resolver, and the odd feeling why do they build sirius black up so much to be a very bad guy when we all know he is just misunderstood. Still, looking forward to the 4th movie, wonder who'll play cho chang, or even whether she will be in the movie.
2) Bought transformers #5, a better issue than #4, some holes in the plot are filled, but still we're only slowing inching towards a conclusion, so I hope #6 will not be a rush job. Great art, starscream was real badass, but we get no mention of the orion and the captured warpath and bumper.
3) Songs I really want:
- Real emotion, 100 words by jade from sweetbox, full versions, not the soundtrack cut down versions
- Rockman EXE Axess theme, full version
- Pompeii by E.S Posthumus, full version
If I remember the rest I'll put them down. Kind souls please help me!
4) Think about this. Wayne Rooney is around our age, and he's playing for England scoring goals for fun and showing defenders older than him no respect, while we're stuck studying for common tests. Bah. I bet rooney doesn't even know how to differentiate x. That's a thought.

I had a dream

Wonder if any of you had a dream, and you just didn't want to wake up from it?
I had one this morning, and I really didn't want to get up.
In it the ultimate impossible thing happened to me, so much so the dream felt real. Maybe it was just me wanting it to be real, normally I would know that I'm dreaming eventually and wake up, but this time it was different. I wanted it to go on and on, despite the fact the dream got more and more ludicious, and it got more and more apparent that it was a dream, but still I wanted to dream.
Maybe it is just a manifestation of those pent up emotions and desires hidden within me, denied even by my own consciousness.
Sighz. Like they say, desires are empty. As much as I want to dream, I woke up in the end. And all memory of that sweet dream faded away rapidly. Why pursue impossible desires and chase the uncatchable? Why, indeed? Why did the dream appear out of the blue? To remind me of my joke of a facade, telling me to ditch my cavalier attitude, and feel the dirt like everyone else, to not let these emotions bottle up inside me?
Before my heck-the-world attitude returns, I think this song is rather appropriate for now.

"If You're Not The One"

If you’re not the one then why does my soul feel glad today?
If you’re not the one then why does my hand fit yours this way?
If you are not mine then why does your heart return my call
If you are not mine would I have the strength to stand at all

I never know what the future brings
But I know you are here with me now
We’ll make it through
And I hope you are the one I share my life with

I don’t want to run away but I can’t take it, I don’t understand
If I’m not made for you then why does my heart tell me that I am?
Is there any way that I can stay in your arms?

If I don’t need you then why am I crying on my bed?
If I don’t need you then why does your name resound in my head?
If you’re not for me then why does this distance maim my life?
If you’re not for me then why do I dream of you as my wife?

I don’t know why you’re so far away
But I know that this much is true
We’ll make it through
And I hope you are the one I share my life with
And I wish that you could be the one I die with
And I pray in you’re the one I build my home with
I hope I love you all my life

I don’t want to run away but I can’t take it, I don’t understand
If I’m not made for you then why does my heart tell me that I am
Is there any way that I can stay in your arms?

‘Cause I miss you, body and soul so strong that it takes my breath away
And I breathe you into my heart and pray for the strength to stand today
‘Cause I love you, whether it’s wrong or right
And though I can’t be with you tonight
And know my heart is by your side

Resolutions are made to be broken when the right temptation comes along

Been away from here for quite some time already... Little excitement nowadays, thanks to the pressures of the looming CTs and A's.
Last monday, went to andrew road to watch the jolin mini-concert. Andrew road is damm long, i just have to say that. Found out how cheapsakte fliming can be, they actually flim the clapping first so they can add in the clapping later. Anyway jolin looks better in real life than on paper, and she was quite good-natured, bantering with the audience, even when they cut the song halfway she was doing a humorous wrecked player sound.
Last friday went back to RI for AC, went to bishan earlier intending to play time crisis, found out they got rid of the arcade at j8. Bought some tidbits for Owl, then went to RI, played football, what started out as a purely 01 game became a emasse of ex-RIPB and anyone that wanted to play. In the end I had to get out early, as I was bushed. The stupid vending machine ate my $, then went and walked around the campsite, tried to influence judges, sat in the sec 4 meeting, and when night fell we just walked around the campsite, talking the usual cock stuff, then finally announcing the inter patrol results for 2003, and we adjourned to the interchange macs for dinner at 10. As usual, the centre of attention for the ribbing, got home around 11 after a fun time just talking Guys TM cock.
Saturday was a bit hard mugging, as the plan was hatched to go to don's house to watch euro. Ate dinner at home, crab, before leaving the house at 8 to go for OG outing. Got lost 3 times, and thus got ribbed by serene. Just chatted a bit, we wandered around the esplanade, marina square area, until it was 10 and I left to go to don's house. Along the way I read the econs TYS, and met edwin and fabian there at the interchange, bought a meal of macs as I strangely found myself hungry, crammed on to the bus, argued over shoe leather cost with ed and fab, trooped over to don's house, not before waiting for murugan. Reaching there, we settled down to watch greece vs portugal. Ed put $5 on portugal, and after 6 mins his investment was gone and kenneth had a fun time GLing him throughout the whole match, what with his crotch thrusts and what nots.
The hilarious part was halfway through the first half, the 9 of us were engrossed on the match, then don who was sitting behind me, said, "zy, dont move, there's a cockroach behind you." I turned around, and sure enough there was one. Kenneth grew nervous and confessed he was scared of cockroaches and koped a magazine to defend himself. Don tried to grab it by the feelers and toss it away, but it ran away, and that's where all chaos broke out. Fabian and ed were standing on top of a couch, murugan and albert was hiding don't know where. Jim and don chased the cockroach around the room trying to slay it, kenneth was shouting at the cockroach, pong and I were laughing, till my sides hurt badly. It was simply too hilarious watching 9 guys, all scouts, who have braved greater dangers, and got scared by a kachua. Oh well, it was a good laugh, and in the end the not hum jim slayed the cockroach.
Ed los this money in the end, and we palyed mahjong before the next match, which ended up no one winning any match due to a lot of comedy, like me spoiling the game for the heck of it, and jim mistaking a 1 bamboo for an animal.
Watched the first half of the spain vs russia match, the lack of sleep was getting to us by then and don was muttering nonsense and everyone was spitting saliva over baraja. Half time we trooped out to the pertrol station to buy some stuff to eat, met up with a biker gang which fabian and kenneth attempted to provoke, back I played a bit of splinter cell before the time was 0530h I went to sleep in don's guest room. Slept for 3 hours, had to leave then, but not before making a return trip to grab my cd, which made me lose the rest and subsequently getting on the wrong bus. But get home I did, and slept a bit and went for dinner at tony roma's with the family. And yes, watched zidane's smash and grab, or should I say england's shooting themselves in the foot twice.
Tuesday and wednesday was faction camp, had to drag myself there, was attempting to wake up and get there by 8, and no one was there. Jolly. Helped with the dwelling game, was a station master, then had a med meeting, which comprised of 5 people. Lunch came and went, ended up in LT 3 hearing min li, kahli, hanyan talking cock about personality tests and tv shows... after that was the floorball contest, in truth I was bored to death, shiming came back from his parenting workshop dead beat, went to bathe in preparation for the night game, tied gazillion water bombs, ended up getting wet and shrinkled and threatened with being bombed from every corner. At about 11 I curled up on a chair and slept, before being awakened at 1230 to get ready for the game, I was supposed to roam around and catch people, but a lot of them, especially the arts fac people were extremely uncooperative. Anyways hon lyn and I were having fun time grabbing people for fun, by wrting "you are being kidnapped. keep quiet and follow me." on our phones and showing the potential captive. The finale was wet and a bit hard to go down, got one in the kisser, had to change my pants, and it all ended and I koped a pillow from the council room and slept in the J1 room. Next morning was a bit groggy, ate a bit of breakfast, helped out with the powder and the toothpaste game, was appalled by the methods the J1s have the guts to use to pass the toothpaste, using their noses etc.
For the final game, I was at the torture chamber, where hockboon was really having a go, I was more cavalier. In the end they got the corny all must unite together, and with 1 unite cheer we concluded. Bushwhacked, I packed my stuff, then got waylaid in the canteen by al, talked to her for a while, before I dragged myself home with sally's chem notes.
Been mugging hard for the last 2 days, trying to make up for lost time, tommorrow is the chem class, somehow completed the holiday exercise... 1 more week, let's get it started in here...

How To Install Love...

A call comes through on the customer service line.

Customer Service Rep: Yes, Ma'am, how can I help you today?

Customer: Well, after much consideration, I've decided to install love.
Can you guide me through the process?

CS Rep: Yes, I can help you. Are you ready to proceed?

Customer: Well, I'm not very technical, but I think I'm ready to install
now. What do I do first?

CS Rep: The first step is to open your HEART. Have you located your HEART
ma'am?

Customer: Yes I have, but there are several other programs running right
now. Is it okay to install while they are running?

CS Rep: What programs are running ma'am?

Customer: Let's see, I have PAST-HURT.EXE, LOW-ESTEEM.EXE, GRUDGE.EXE,
and RESENTMENT.COM running right now.

CS Rep: No problem. LOVE will gradually erase PAST-HURT.EXE from your
current operating system. It may remain in your permanent memory, but it
will no longer disrupt other programs. LOVE will eventually overwrite
LOW-ESTEEM.EXE with a module of its own called HIGH- ESTEEM.EXE. However,
you have to completely turn off GRUDGE.EXE and RESENTMENT.COM. Those
programs prevent LOVE from being properly installed. Can you turn those
off ma'am?

Customer: I don't know how to turn them off. Can you tell me how?

CS Rep: My pleasure. Go to your Start menu and invoke FORGIVENESS.EXE. Do
this as many times as necessary until GRUDGE.EXE and RESENTMENT.COM have
been completely erased.

Customer: Okay, done. LOVE has started installing itself automatically.
Is that normal?

CS Rep: Yes. You should receive a message that says it will reinstall for
the life of your HEART. Do you see that message?

Customer: Yes I do. Is it completely installed?

CS Rep: Yes, but remember that you have only the base program. You need
to begin connecting to other Heart's in order to get the upgrades.

Customer: Oops. I have an error message already. What should I do?

CS Rep: What does the message say?

Customer: It says "ERROR 412 - PROGRAM NOT RUN ON INTERNAL COMPONENTS."
What does that mean?

CS Rep: Don't worry ma'am, that's a common problem. It means that the
LOVE program is set up to run on external HEARTS but has not yet been run on
your HEART. It is one of those complicated programming things, but in
non-technical terms it means you have to "LOVE" your own machine before
it can "LOVE" others.

Customer: So what should I do?

CS Rep: Can you pull down the directory called "SELF-ACCEPTANCE"?

Customer: Yes, I have it.

CS Rep: Excellent. You're getting good at this.

Customer: Thank you.

CS Rep: You're welcome. Click on the following files and then copy them
to the "MYHEART" directory: FORGIVE-SELF.DOC, REALIZE-WORTH.TXT, and
ACKNOWLEDGE-LIMITATIONS.DOC. The system will overwrite any conflicting
files and begin patching any programming. Also, you need to delete
SELF-CRITIC.EXE from all directories, and to make sure it is completely
gone and never comes back, you will need to empty your recycle bin.

Customer: Got it. Hey! My HEART is filling up with new files. SMILE.MPG
is playing on my monitor right now and it shows that PEACE.EXE, and
CONTENTMENT.COM are copying themselves all over my HEART. Is this normal?

C Rep: Sometimes. For others it takes a while, but eventually everything
gets downloaded at the proper time. So, LOVE is installed and running.
You should be able to handle it from here. One more thing before I go.

Customer: Yes?

CS Rep: LOVE is freeware. Be sure to give it and its various modules to
everybody you meet. They will in turn share it with other people and they
will return some similarly cool modules back to you.

Customer: I will. Thanks for your help. By the way, what's your name?

CS Rep: You can call me the Divine Cardiologist, also known as The Great
Physician. Most people feel all they need is an annual checkup to stay
heart-healthy, but the manufacturer suggests a schedule of daily
maintenance for maximum efficiency.

"Till all are one!"

All 3 parts done!

Part 1:
We open with cybertron drained of energy after eons of conflict. Short introduction of the transformers. Optimus Prime leads an elite team of auotbots to search for energon, but they're overheard by decepticons who attack the ship in mid flight. The ark crashes on earth, mt st helens erupts, the decepticons leave the ark and raid hoover dam, the energy weapons duel revealed in remastered glory, before blowing the dam up and pissing off humanity royally, the autobots are forced to retreat, spike tells them that their war is unwelcome here, the collateral damage saddens prime, megatron ponders his new move, and decides to raid both cybertron and earth! As prime contemplates spike's words, the decepticons attack a NASA insitute to steal a rocket to return cybertron. Prime tells the autobots to "transform and roll out", but not before askign wheeljack to look for the "5 unaccounted warriors". A drag-out knock down fight takes place, with individual battles showing each tf's power, like skywarp's teleportation and mirage's cloaking ability. Prime and megatron duke it out again, and prime bests him, places his rifle to megs' forehead, all the while rehashing the classic movie dialogue, but before he can pull the trigger a gamma blast strikes him on the shoulder, knocking him away. Autobot and decepticon alike pause to see shockwave, in gun mode, transform as he exits a vortex. He chillingly tells megatron he brought "reinforcements" and out come the 6 constructicons! They scan for alt modes, then combine to form devastator! Devastator promptly routs all the autobots with his solar rifle and size, and as prime lies half dead mega transforms and gets soundwave to blast prime, but wheeljack arrives with the "5 unaccounted warriors", the Dinobots! They take on Devastator, and prime rallies the autobots for a final push. While the war rages on, the US govt decides to end this problem by nuking them. Soundwave reports that a nuke is arrivng, and megatron laughs hysterically about how the humans have betrayed him. Superion goes to intercept the missile, and the us govt, seeing that their plan had failed, decide to attempt to capture superion instead, so they detonate the missile near superion, knocking him out but not killing him. They salvage him and transport his parts for investigation. The nuclear explosion however created a large wave, which covered all the tf's allowing the decpticons to escape. Prime contemplates the autobot's cause again, as all around humans protest their residency on their planet. Seeing no alternative, the autobots return to the ark, with prime vowing to protect this planet despite their inhabitants hatred for them. In the final scene, we see megatron, in his new undersea base, reiterating his desrire to enslave earth inhabitants and drain it of its resources. He looks at a computer as it is scanning, then it stops. The words "NEMESIS FOUND" appear on the screen, and we end with megatron laughing.

Part 2:
We start with the scene of a devastated power plant, debris and corpses everywhere, and as the autobots rolled in they once again realise they were too late. Prime picks up a decepticon symbol from the ground and crushes it, swearing revenge on the decepticons. Suddenly a bunch of humans hurl rocks at them, shouting for the transformers to leave their planet. Ultra Magnus questions why they should be defending the ungrateful humans, spike expalins they're scared and they're reacting as normal humans would. Prime once again berates himself for this war and orders hound and prowl to find out what is the next decepticon target.
We then cut to the decepticon base, megatron is gloating over his latest success, and starscream, having had enough, challenges megatron to a duel over the leadership of the decepticons. Megatron happily obliges, and hands starscream's nosecone to him. He declares his patience for his treachery has run thin, and packs starscream off into a stasis pod and sends him to deep space on it. When megatron is finally satisfied, soundwave reports to megatron they have found the next target, a nuclear fusion plant in california. Megatron then rallies his troops by telling them once this raid was complete, the Nemesis will rise again! He leads the decepticons to the plant.
In a shadowy room, the president of US asks if their secret weapon was ready, and he receives an affirmative reply, then he says he hopes that will be the end of the transformers...
The decepticons arrive at the plant, but megatron senses something amiss, and he is right as the autobots jump out of their hiding places and engages them! Prowl and hound managed to find their next target, then the autobots waited in ambush. A battle rages, the autobots seem to have the upper hand until a massive shadow casts itself ont he battlefield... Superion, or what was left of him that wasn't destroyed in the nuclear blast or modified by humans started to attack all transformers. Prime is horrified by what the humans have done, turning their comrade against them, megatron merely gloats about the cruelty humans show and questions prime why he bothers saving such vile creatures.
Meanwhile, starscrem awakens in his pod. He finds out the pod is headed for the sun and his destruction. However, he uses his null ray to disable the security systems, and proceeds to steer the pod towards cybertron, swearing revenge on megatron...
As the enchaned superion causes the auotbots to fall back, megatron takes the opportunity to collect the energon he needs. He sneers at prime for being unable to hurt his former comrade in arms. Prime is at a loss at what to do, it seems superion is no longer sentient, he is only a puppet of the humans. He tries to bring his old friend around, but he fails and gets pummelled instead. Megatron attempts to escape, but the decepticons crash against a forcefield instead. A metallic voice comes from superion that self-destruct sequence has been initiated...
On cybertron, shockwave is busying himself getting ready to send reinforcements to meagtron, but he gets shot in the back by starscream, who takes over the space bridge and warps himself and 5 protoforms to earth, vowing to create his own "bridgade"...
Prime tries to reach out to superion again, but fails again. Megatron insists prime take out superion together, or they'll all die. Prime refuses, and tells the aerialbots to remember who they are. At last they do, and superion flies up into the air, breaking the forcefield and exploding in mid air, sacrificing himself yet again. Megatron makes use of the diversion to escape, and Prime contmeplates this series of events, saddened by the humans actions...
When he recieved news that their plan failed, the president cursed and raged. Not for long though, as a tech points out that a very large airship is headed for new york city, and it is of alien origin!
Megatron had finally reactivated the Nemesis. The ancient warship made its way to new york city, destroying everything in its path. The autobots, after overcoming their shock, quickly set out to intercept it, but being unable to fly, were seriously disadvantaged. Powerglide gets blown out of the sky, while prime orders ironhide to try and get the ark to fly. He says it's impossible, the engines were totally blown out, and the escape shuttle for emergencies was mysteriously missing as well. (not mysterious to beast wars fans though) When all hope was lost, prime recieves a transmission from an old friend, and he orders the autobots to assemble outside the ark...
Starscream comes through the space bridge right into a military base, and proceeds to sacre off all the humans with random laser blasts. He then activiates the protoforms, and they scan for alt modes as starscream cannot contain his glee...
The auotbots gather as they watch the destruction the Nemesis was doing tot he city. Suddenly, the ground trembled, and Omega Supreme shows up! He fires a powerful blast at the nemesis, which gains megatron's attention, and he steers the nemesis towards omega and orders his decepticons to attack the autobots. Prime borrows sideswipe's jet pack and flies unnoticed into the nemesis...
As the battle rages on outside, prime reaches the bridge of the nemesis. He crushes soundwave easily, so filled with rage prime was. Megatron taunts him again, saying that the fusion cannon he is powering up will level the whole city. This however time prime does not waste any time, lunging at megatron with murderous intent.
They grapple and deal each other heavy damage, megatron breaking one of prime's "horns", prime smashing megatron's back cannon to bits after ripping it out. The computer announces that the cannon is ready, and megatron breaks out of their grapple and punches prime across the face and leaps to press the button. Just then, a blast stops megatron, and prime turns to see ultra magnus. Summoning his last bit of strength, prime smashes the fusion cannon controls, causing the cannon to backfire. Ultra Magnus helps prime to his feet, and he watches as the nemesis loses altitude, damaged beyond repair, as they prepare to leave the ship, Megatron blasts ultra magnus, seperating the 2 brothers. Magnus gets blown out of the ship, and the 2 mortal enemies fight for the last time. Megatron bests prime, and finishes him off with a final blast from his fusion cannon to the side. The impact of the blasts blows both of them out of the nemesis, just seconds before it blew up spectacularly.
Thundercracker retrieves the barely alive megatron, who declared in a wild voice that he has destroyed optimus prime, and the decepticons return to base. Ratchet quickly transports prime back to the ark, but it is futile, prime dies, but not before passing on the matrix of leadership to ultra magnus.
Back in the decepticon base, megatron gloats about prime's death but is stopped short by the sudden appearance of starscream. Enraged, he menacingly approaches starscream, but he is caught by the giant hand of Bruticus! Starscream hovers to megatron, and wants him to give up the leadership of the decepticons. When he refuses, starscream headshots him. He then places megatron in a pod as well, while he is now only barely alive. He claims he is showing megatron greater mercy then he did to him, by just letting him float in space forever. As the pod exits the earth's atmosphere...
We cut to an ominous voice saying that the 2 leaders are gone, and the time for chaos is now... Then the words "to be continued" appear and the credits roll...
After the credits, we see the coronation of starscream as new decepticon leader. However, someone disrupts it, someone purple and carrying a decepticon insignia! He promptly transforms into a futuristic cannon, and reduces starscream to dust with a single shot. He then claims the leadership of the decepticons. He declares himself as Galvatron, and he has a message: Chaos is coming!
END

Part 3:
We open in space, where megatron's lifeless body drifts in space. As his eyes flare back online, he roars "I still function!", and he meets unicron. The scene from the original will be redone here, with the same classic dialogue, basically unicron reformats megatron as galvatron and wants him to get the matrix from the auotbots, as it is the only thing that cna destroy him. Unicron even provides him with new troops, cyclonus and the sweeps. We then return back to normal time in cybertron, where galvatron muses about how best to claim the matrix from the autobots. Soundwave is seen gathering laserbeak, and he plays back a recording of ultra magnus' voice. He says that prime is dead, and now the matrix resides in him and he argues with prowl over what might be the best course of action now, before the decepticons decide to strike when they are at their weakest. Hearing that, galvatron immediately gathers all the decepticons, and they head off for earth to attack the ark.
Most auotbots are in mourning over the death of optimus prime, and grimlock is openly hostile to the new prime, ultra magnus. As grimlock tries to claim the matrix by force, the ark shakes and they hear explosions! The whole decepticon force was attacking the ark. Galvatron tangles with ultra magnus, who is astonished as galvatron announces that he is the more powerful version of megatron! He almost succeeds in terminating ultra magnus, but is stopped by grimlock. Outnumbered, outgunned and totally outmatched, ultra magnus orders the autobots to retreat, and asks ratchet to activate the self destruct sequence for the ark. The decepticons pull out just before the ark explodes, but galvatron orders the continued search for the matrix as the autobots had scattered after the explosion.
Hidden away in the forest, Blaster receives a transmission from moonbase 1&2 of cybertron. It appears that they were being absorbed a gaint planetary being. Ultra magnus tells the autobots their best course of action now is to return to cybertron, as the attack by the new leader of the decepticons and the destruction of the moonbases are somehow related.
The autobots board the ships ultra magnus and the rest came in in the previous movie. Just as the shuttles are going to take off, galvatron attacks! The decepticons attack different shuttles, galvatron makes a beeline for ultra magnus again. Flanked by sweeps, he beats up ultra magnus badly, and forcibly rips apart his chest for the matrix, and blasts him again, this time he dies. Laughing hysterically, galvatron returns to unicron, leaving behind the small group of autobots and the ruined shuttle, and his ominous warning that chaos is coming!
Hot rod, incensed by the murder of ultra magnus, wants to return to cybertron immediately to avenge him. Their shuttle crashes on junk, where the junkions and wreck-gar help them to rebuild their shuttle.
Meanwhile, galvatron has no intention of giving the matrix to unicron, instead he tries to use it against him! However, galvatron cannot open the matrix, and the enraged unicron swallows him into his body, matrix et al. He then transforms, and wipes out all the decepticons, who had started to attack him when galvatron was swallowed by him. The few that survived returned to cybertron in fear, and unicron announces his next target would be cybertron!
Unicron arrives at cybertron, and finds that every transformer has taken up arms against him, as the surviving decepticons had warned the whole planet. However, even their combined power has little effect on unicron, and he proceeds to decimate the planet.
At that crucial moment, the rebuilt autobot shuttle appears through a warp hole, and crashes through unicron's left eye. Once inside, the autobots hot rod kup blurr springer arcee try to fight their way to the heart of unicron, but hot rod gets seperated from the group when the internal security measures of unicron were activated.
Hot rod finds himself in the heart of unicron, and hiding in a dark corner, is galvatron, matrix chained around his neck. Filled with righteous rage, hot rod takes on galvatron, but he easily bests him, and as galvatron tries to crush his neck with his bare hands, hot rod reaches out and grabs the matrix, a shning light appears and hot rod undergoes a transformation, he is now taller and bigger, and with a deeper voice he proclaims "This is the end of the road, Galvatron!" Rodimus Prime has arisen. The two leaders fight it out in the heart of unicron, this time, rodimus avenges both prime and ultra magnus by blasting galvatron out of unicron.
Then, he picks up the matrix, asking it to "light our darkest hour!" The matrix opens, and unicron starts blowing apart, the auotbots escape by crashing out of the right eye, and for the final shots, we see unicron's head pop off before his body explodes, and the scenes of jubilation of the auotbots to the end of the war and a new age of peace and prosperity, as we see unicron's head orbiting cybertron, and roll credits...
Really laughable

This website takes the cake

You know, I really wonder who people can be so blind in the name of religion. Oh well, their highly blinkered opinions really make me laugh. How do they equate harry potter to witchcraft and all the bad stuff in the world is really mind boggling. It's a good thing I have never met any extremist idiots in my life or I'll make it my personal mission to humilate them by announcing their sayings to the whole world. Excrept:

The Whole Harry Potter movies, and books are pure evil. These movies are teaching witchcraft. Witchcraft is for people who follow The Devil. These movies are nothing, but evil. I dont care if the movie is good, and has lots of action. God hates this movie. My Ratings: [Extremely Offensive/1½]
--Micah, age 14

Gee, they do get them young nowadays.
And I remember an argument in GP class, about why science cannot replace religiona s it does not tell us what moral standards to have. Invalid in my view, as most people who never had a religion are not moraless people. I just don't do things to people that I wouldn't want them to do on me. If they play hardball, I play it back.
Now excuse me as I guffaw at the idiotic responses...

At least, a voice of reason...

As for the whole occult thing, I honestly just don't get it. Do you really think our children are so stupid that they can't distinguish fantasy from reality? My brother was OBSESSED with Superman when he was young but he didn't grow up and jump off tall buildings wearing a red cape. Honestly, the books and movies are just fantasy. My kids have shown absolutely no interest whatsoever in becoming Wicca or practicing the occult. And don't tell me that you never escaped to your own fantasy world when you were a kid. My Ratings: [Better than Average/5]

Electroencephelographically challenged

Hello all.
Just a kind reminder. Mug hard.
Don't screw up CTs.
Bye!

If anyone asks, I'm not in

Slow week of holidays... been reading more harry potter than studying...
Must say book 5 is worth the wait, as harry becomes an asshole and that makes it all believable now, no longer is he some holier-then-thou messiah...
And yes, recent events have led me to the conclusion that we should just take everything at face value when it comes to people. Second guessing people will take forever, but sadists will point out where's the fun in that?
In any case, I'm rather glad for this break away from school, gives me space to breathe... Still, the shadow of the A's are hagning over my head ominously...
And also, i really don't understand something which I cannot mention here, lest i get death threats from half the world's population (hint hint).
Oh well, readin other people's blogs makes me glad I'm rather.... sane. Sheesh, there goes my novelty value. Maybe if i can get a treebranch scar on my forehead...

It all started with a SMS

Well, as I've been threatened with a fate worse than death I cannot say anything about what happened on mon. Suffice to say, it was a real weird experience. In any case, I don't really care much. Until... my mum scolded me about wasting the whole day. Oh well, a good deed a day is a scout's honour, anyways I would be compensated, eventually.
Burning day after day, read harry potter for 2 hours, slept for 2 hours, slacked for 4 hours... I'm screwing myself up...
For the want of a tunnel vision on studying only...
